Description

Hello,

I'm used to access all my websites using both HTTP and HTTPS methods. In particular, I'd like to edit my dotclear 2 blogs in a secure connection (using HTTPS), while still allowing access to the blog using HTTP.

Until now, I have been unable to have a fully functional dotclear working with both HTTP and HTTPS. I am apparently forced to put a access method in the "URL du blog" parameter of dotclear, i.e. " http://bentobako.org/david/blog" or " https://bentobako.org/david/blog". Dotclear does not work (e.g. preview feature) if I only put "bentobako.org/david/blog".

It would be a very useful feature to have.

Sincerely yours, david

Sorry, unless I did not understood your answer, this does not solve my issue.

My issue is not that I cannot access to the admin part in a secure way (HTTPS).

My issue is that I want my blog to be accessible with both HTTP ( http://bentobako.org/david/blog) and HTTPS ( https://bentobako.org/david/blog).

Currently, if I access my whole blog (content, images, internal blog links) with HTTPS ( https://bentobako.org/david/blog/), all the links are HTTP, not HTTPS as expected. Is there a way to change that? If not, this is a feature request.

Thanks, d.

Sorry, but Dotclear knows which blog to use by reading the URL ; the protocol is part of the URL, therefore, however likely it is, it just cannot be assumed that another URL whose only difference is the protocol should point to the same content.
