Description

Dotclear should provide a way to re-test the cache directory. I created it, but we should be able to confirm location & perms are correct.

The "Blog Address" is wrong -- that URL just tells me DC is already installed.

Dotclear installation
Cache directory /home/web/dotclear2/inc/../cache is not writable.
All done!

To re-test the cache directory, you just have to refresh the page (there is no post info nor session at this point.) There will be no change for now, as it affects only users who are tech-savvy enough to install a subversion checkout, but we will include more thorough explanations in the long run (the install procedure needs to be reviewed.)

  • Status changed from assigned to closed
  • Resolution set to wontfix

As for your blog url: it cannot be determined because you directly pointed your vhost to the admin folder. Although it is relevant for a non-standard installation, it really implies you know what you're doing. As such, you're not fooled by the message (and your ticket demonstrates it.)

Beside, there is no way, in that installation procedure, to determine the blog URL. As the wizard is intended to be used for standard installations, I close the ticket.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
